Szabó Attila vagyok, festőművész.
Pécsett születtem, itt folytattam tanulmányaimat, jelenleg is itt élek és dolgozok. Munkáimra nagy hatással van a város élete, mediterrán hangulata, így sok képen örökítettem meg Pécs jellegzetes épületeit, tereit és utcáit. Emellett, utazási élményeimet is felhasználva, mediterrán sikátorokat, tájképeket is festek. De figurális témákat, aktokat is szívesen alkotok.
Leggyakrabban az akvarell technikát használom, mert ezzel tudom legjobban visszaadni az épületek és utcák művészi kopottságát. Az olajfestéket főleg aktjaimhoz használom, de sok más technikával is szívesen kísérletezek, pl: diópác, selyemfesték, tus stb.
Festményeimet kiállították többek között a Pécsi Székesegyház, Kocsis László termében, a Pécsi Minerva könyvtárban és még számos vidéki vándorkiállításon. Képeim az ország több galériájában és ügynök-kereskedőnél is megtalálhatóak.
My name is Attila Szabó I'm an artist painter who was born in Pécs, Hungary.
I was a student in this town and I live and work here at present. The Mediterranean atmosphere and the life of the city equally have a great impact on my work of art therefore you can see the characteristic buildings squares and streets of Pécs in my painting. Besides all these and by using my travel experiences I also paint Mediterranean alleys and landscapes.
Furthermore I'm willing to paint con figurative and nude pictures as well. Most often I use the water colour technique for my work because I can give back the impression of the artistic shabbiness of the streets and other places. I use oil for my nude paintings but I'm ready to experiment with other methods I like walnut dipping silk painting, and black ink.
My paintings have been exhibited among others in the Kocsis László Hall of the Cathedral of Pécs, in the Minerva Library in Pécs and at numerous other travelling art exhibitions. My pictures can be found at art galleries and art agencies all over the country.
